Position Title - Category Intern
Location - Bangalore
As a category intern in Puma, you would be working closely with the category team. Understanding the product life cycle and learning the nuances of category and merchandising for the respective product category and various sales channels.
1. Assisting the buyers in analyzing seasonal trends, historical data, range planning, pricing, etc.
2. Assisting in organizing road shows and setting up showrooms for presentations, ensuring all other details like customer presentations, catalogs, etc., are in place
3. Tracking deliveries to meet launches aligned with global in-store dates
4. Collecting market intelligence on competition brands regarding product, pricing, and distribution channels
Knowledge and skills:
1. Post-Graduation from NIFT or Engineering from a Tier 1 college
2. 0-1 years of experience
3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
4. Knowledge of other analytical tools will be useful
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize work based on business importance
6. Willingness to learn new technology/tools as required by the business
7. Excellent communication skills and a sense of ownership
