About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment: Ensure all instruments and tools are properly cleaned, calibrated, and ready for use.
Assist in experiments: Support researchers and students by setting up experiments and providing technical assistance during procedures.
Document results: Record and organize data accurately for analysis and reporting.
Ensure safety compliance: Monitor adherence to safety protocols and handle hazardous materials with care.
Inventory management: Keep track of laboratory supplies and order replacements as needed.

About Manastu Space Technologies

At Manastu Space Technologies, we are working on the concept of monopropellant thruster based on hydrogen peroxide: 30% higher specific impulse and 40 times less toxic (non-carcinogenic) as compared to regular hydrazine-based mono-propellant thrusters, which can hence be a potential green alternative to the current monopropellant propulsion technology.

The key areas in which we are currently working on are the development of a high-temperature catalyst bed that goes into the combustion chamber and facilitates combustion. The catalyst development entails the development of high-temperature ceramics & coating of ceramic with active metal nanoparticles.
