About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with children to develop and implement learning plans and IEPs
2. Use the TEACCH approach to work with children with special needs
3. Help children reintegrate into mainstream classrooms
4. Bridge learning and socialization gaps to enable independence
5. Communicate with parents professionally and be punctual for sessions
6. Provide daily and monthly progress reports to the organization
7. Attend training, programs, and workshops
8. Receive supervision and training throughout the internship
9. Follow a child's rights-based approach
