This is a civic engagement project being carried out by NewsGram.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Gather information about civic and political issues related to transparency and accountability in the government
2. Create creative material (Hindi and English) related to the above themes and post on the website & social media handles
3. Create awareness and mobilize support for the movement
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for the part time job/internship
2. can start the part time job/internship between 6th Oct'21 and 10th Nov'21
3. are available for duration of 6 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
* Women wanting to start/restart their career can also apply.
1. Should have a passion for policy matters and work on civic issues
2. A background in journalism or political sciences is desirable
3. Should be willing to create collaborations and mobilize people & groups
4. Some skills in graphics and video editing is a plus

This 24x7 portal is a typical news portal with a mix of everything (politics, society, culture, economy, entertainment, sports, etc.) with a focus on politics and society. As an independent news organization, we are committed to our core values and beliefs. The emphasis would be on delivering the news with a difference and ethical journalism with a pragmatic approach. We seek to raise issues that the mainstream media misses or does not consider important.
