Civil Engineering Internship

PROJECT: Construction of a 6m x 8m RCC framed structure

OBJECTIVE:

We are looking for a technically sound individual to help with material estimation, procurement planning, and execution clarity. This is a short-term engagement (4-5 days, max 1 week) with potential for further opportunities in the same project based on performance. The role involves:

1. On-Site Assessment - Understanding actual conditions, interacting with supervisor/foreman and client
2. Documentation - Preparing BOQ, BBS, procurement plan, schedule etc
3. Execution Oversight - Ensuring implementation aligns with planning

SCOPE OF WORK:

1) On-Site Visit (Day 1)
Assess conditions
Identify needs, challenges etc
Discussions to align planning

2) Remote Work - Planning & Documentation (1-2 Days)
Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and procurement recommendations.
Optimize reinforcement cutting (BBS) to reduce waste.
Provide a stage-wise material requirement plan.
Estimate time requirements for procurement and execution.

3) On-Site Visit (1-3 days as per requirement)
Share documentation
Oversee execution

Based on performance, the selected candidate may also receive a Certificate of Appreciation, recognizing their leadership and execution excellence.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Experience in material estimation, procurement planning, and site execution. This is not a completely learning role.
Comfortable working both remotely and on-site.
Ability to visit the site as and when required.
Strong understanding of BOQ, BBS, and material procurement.
Can communicate in Hindi for coordination at the site.
