About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Producing well-researched, accurate, and engaging news articles on topics such as natural disasters, severe weather, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, space phenomena, and hard-science research
2. Conducting thorough research using credible sources to gather relevant information and data for articles, ensuring all content is accurate and up-to-date
3. Crafting compelling narratives that make complex scientific concepts and phenomena accessible and interesting to a broad audience
4. Managing the complete process of content creation to publishing for the content team

1. Proven experience as a journalist or content writer, preferably with a focus on science or environmental topics of 6 months or more
2. Strong research skills and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
3. Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
4. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently
