About the internship
This internship provides hands-on experience in secretarial work, and regulatory compliance under various corporate laws, equipping you with essential skills to excel in the field.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist in handling Companies Act, 2013 compliance, including board meetings, shareholder meetings, and statutory filings
2. Gain exposure to SEBI regulations, insider trading laws, and stock exchange compliances
3. Work on foreign direct investment (FDI), external commercial borrowings (ECB), and FEMA compliance for businesses with cross-border transactions
4. Assist in legal research and draft documents concerning petitions for cases related to company law (NON-IBC) matters
5. Conduct secretarial audits and perform compliance checks for companies, ensuring adherence to legal requirements
6. Gain practical experience in company incorporation, LLP formation, and compliance management for startups and SMEs
7. Liaise with regulatory authorities such as ROC, SEBI, RBI, and NCLT for various corporate submissions and legal matters
8. Draft and maintain corporate documents such as board resolutions, minutes, and agreements
9. Assist in the preparation and filing of MCA, SEBI, RBI, and FEMA compliance reports
10. Coordinate and organize board and general meetings, ensuring regulatory compliance
11. Conduct legal research on corporate laws, SEBI regulations, and FEMA guidelines
12. Assist in secretarial audits, due diligence reports, and compliance checks
13. Prepare applications, petitions, and responses for NCLT and regulatory matters
14. Handle event-based and periodic filings with MCA, RBI, and stock exchanges
15. Communicate and coordinate with clients, regulators, and stakeholders
