About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges
2. Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
3. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents
4. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies
5. Go the extra mile to engage customers
6. Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail, or social media

Added requirements

1. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 0-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area

2. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field

3. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions and can work under immediate supervision

4. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager, the target is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction

5. Familiar with CRM systems and practices customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters

Additional information

The customer service representative attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.
