Cyber Security Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Evaluate business unit implementation of key security frameworks and provide recommendations to address alignment
2. Perform detailed risk assessments and provide recommendations to the business
3. Identify initiatives with risk areas that need specialized security expertise
4. Collaborate with the core business partners and other security teams to improve controls via creative process design which meets the evolving business needs for customer experience and efficiency
5. Collaborate and build relationships with key business partners for continued security education and awareness
6. Provide guidance for new technologies and methodologies as business needs evolve
7. Assist in cyber events and investigations, including but not limited to, data discovery & analysis and customer notification, as needed
8. Test, scan, monitor, and run different tools against current infrastructure
9. Configure tools (data loss protection, email security, malware related, etc)
10. Develop code refine or augment existing tools, load results to a database or engine
11. Optimize the process
12. Aid our cyber threat intelligence group in the analysis of dark-web activities
13. Support cyber kill chain and threat response enhancements
