About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assisting in conducting financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
2. Collecting, cleaning, and organizing financial and operational data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
3. Creating visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI to communicate key financial insights to stakeholders
4. Analyzing historical and current financial data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers and providing recommendations for improvement
5. Supporting the finance team with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed, including market research, competitor analysis, and financial modeling
6. Identifying opportunities to streamline existing processes and improve efficiency within the finance department through automation and optimization
7. Collaborating with other departments, such as marketing, operations, and sales, to gather data and insights that contribute to overall business objectives
