We are looking to hire a data engineer intern to join our Indian team as we start our next phase of growth. Our new Python engineer will be passionate about data and will be an essential member of the engineering team. The internship period will range from 6 to 12 months.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Deliver plugins for our Python-based ETL pipelines
2. Deliver Python microservices for provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure
3. Implement algorithms to analyze large data sets
4. Draft design documents that translate requirements into code
5. Manage challenges effectively associated with handling large volumes of data while working towards tight deadlines
6. Manage expectations with internal stakeholders and context-switch in a fast-paced environment
7. Thrive in an environment that uses AWS and Elasticsearch extensively
8. Contribute to the engineering strategy
