Analytics Vidhya is looking for a Journalism Intern to create and edit compelling AI related news posts for our community. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to tell a compelling story in the form of awesome articles and content.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Coordinate online publishing cycle and manage content areas
2. Set publication standards and establish goals and expectations
3. Suggest topics and generate headline ideas in alignment with the targeted audience's preferences
4. Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors
5. Proofread, edit and improve the content
6. Recruit and manage a team of writers
7. Comply with media law and ethical guidelines
Requirements:
1. Experience as a writer and editor in the field of Journalism (preferably some experience in the AI and ML domain)
2. Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio
3. Hands-on experience with WordPress
4. Proven familiarity with SEO and social media best practices
5. Excellent written skills in English
6. An eye for detail along with critical thinking, prioritizing and multitasking
