Deck Ambassador Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Collect waivers from parents before class and update the roster to confirm who has submitted them. Ensure this task is completed accurately and on time.
2. Test and record pH and chlorine levels before class to allow time for adjustments if needed.
3. Assist the Teacher Assistant with setting up the classroom, including arranging benches, inflating the slide, and organizing toys.
4. When setting up benches, place them upside down to release any air bubbles.
5. Make underwater videos via GoPro provided
6. Keep class toys organized and easily accessible. Familiarize yourself with the names of all items, such as barbells/dumbbells, kickboards, noodles, and motorboats, to promptly respond to the teacher's requests.
7. Prepare the attendance sheet on the board, including details such as level, time, and participant names. For classes with more than seven participants, ensure attendance is taken promptly to manage any additional participants effectively and remove the participants out of class.
8. Take class attendance and record on Bookeo. Pay special attention to families who come late and marking them down
9. Make sure sunblock, pretzels (or stickers and candy) are ready
10. In the event of an injury or illness (e.g., vomiting), assist the affected parent or child promptly. Use the first aid kit as necessary and, if applicable, contact hotel staff to handle cleanups. Collaborate with the Assistant Teacher to ensure families feel supported and cared for during challenging moments.
11. During classes, Go live on our main social media channels & individual city pages (Instagram & Facebook)
12. Send emails and WhatsApp messages daily as needed based on instructions by supervisor
