About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials related to the client.
2. Illustrate concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type, and style, and submit them for approval.
3. Understand client requirements related to design and layout.
4. Develop a design brief that reflects the client's requirements.
5. Have in-depth knowledge of visual/communication design language and the ability to translate the understanding into visually appealing design communication.
6. Demonstrate illustrative and sketching skills.
7. Understand annual reports, sustainability reports, and ESG reports.
8. Produce drafts for review by clients and make revisions based on the feedback received.
9. Review final productions for errors and ensure that final prints are error-free and reflect client specifications.

Other requirements
1. Proficient in working with design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.

6. Ability to illustrate and paint will be a huge added advantage.
7. Prior experience in designing reports will be an added advantage.

We are hiring for the role of design specialist at Report Yak. Report Yak is an ambitious young firm focused on creating corporate reports for industry-leading organizations. We conceptualize, write, and design annual reports, sustainability reports, and integrated reports, among others, in addition to providing consultancy services on the application of various reporting frameworks. The position is available in Goa, Mumbai, or Kolkata on a full-time engagement.
