The role is based out of Bengaluru and will involve working closely with senior manager development. The Development department exists to identify, cultivate, solicit and steward philanthropies and bilateral/multilateral organisations interested in supporting Janaagraha.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Map out potential resources and grant funding opportunities in India
2. Manage donor data and update periodically
3. Check donor s eligibility criteria and ensure that the areas of interests (AoIs) are aligned with Janaagraha s Areas of Operations (AoOs)
4. Prioritize grant funding opportunities based on deadlines
5. Prepare checklists for identified funding opportunities
6. Coordinate with other internal departments/teams to collect and collate required documents
7. Ensure the availability of documents while submitting proposals/bids etc.
8. Support the development team in uploading proposals / bids in e-procurement portals, brief write ups, developing pitch decks etc.
9. Ensure proactive stakeholder engagement
Note:
1. We are looking for an intern for a period of six (6) months with strong research skills, resource mapping, prioritizing identified potential opportunities, team coordination, donor - data management, documentation, reporting and assist in preparing for reviews
2. Good working knowledge of MS Office
