About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Capture high-quality, compelling documentary-style photographs that tell impactful stories.
2. Plan and execute shoots in diverse locations, often with unpredictable conditions.
3. Work closely with directors, journalists, or content creators to align visuals with the storytelling vision.
4. Edit and process images to maintain authenticity while enhancing visual appeal.
5. Handle photography equipment and ensure its maintenance and security during assignments.
6. Research subjects, locations, and cultural sensitivities before shoots.
7. Adhere to ethical guidelines when documenting sensitive topics and real-life events.
8. Deliver work within deadlines while maintaining creative integrity.

Who can apply

Other requirements

1. Proven experience in documentary photography (portfolio required).

2. Strong storytelling ability through visual composition.

3. Proficiency in DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, and editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).

4. Ability to work independently and adapt to various shooting conditions.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when engaging with subjects.

6. Flexibility to travel and work on-location, sometimes under challenging circumstances.

7. Understanding of ethical photography practices, especially in sensitive environments.
