About the internship
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce Operations Intern to assist in managing various aspects of our online store. This role offers hands-on experience in product management, order processing, inventory control, and customer service. The intern will work closely with the eCommerce team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and enhance the customer shopping experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
a. Product Listings & Management:
1. Upload new products to the website, ensuring accurate product descriptions, pricing, and images.
2. Edit and update product details as necessary, ensuring a high level of accuracy and SEO optimization.
3. Assist in organizing products into appropriate categories.
b. Inventory Management:
1. Track inventory levels and report low-stock items.
2. Assist in maintaining accurate stock records on the platform.
3. Coordinate with the purchasing team to ensure replenishment of stock.
c. Data Analysis & Reporting:
1. Assist in generating reports on product sales, customer preferences, and order processing times.
2. Monitor website performance and track key eCommerce metrics (e.g., conversion rates, cart abandonment).
d. Website Maintenance:
1. Assist in updating website content, including promotional banners, featured products, and seasonal campaigns.
2. Check for and report any issues related to broken links, missing products, or technical errors.
e. Market Research:
1. Conduct competitive analysis and research market trends in the eCommerce industry.
2. Gather insights on competitors' products, pricing, and promotions to suggest improvements.

Other requirements
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, eCommerce, or a related field.
2. Basic understanding of eCommerce platforms is a plus.
3. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
4. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs).
7. Knowledge of basic image editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva) is a bonus.
