1. Understanding the design requirement
2. Preparing schematics (2D drawing), releasing the process, validating, testing proto samples and freezing the design
3. Coordinating and working on prototyping to meet customer deadlines
4. Preparing documents independently like DRD, DFMEA, 2D Drawings, 3D drawings, 8D reports, SOR, electrical schematics, supplier wiring harness drawings, etc.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues & wiring harness issues and resolving them independently
6. Selecting wiring harness component, designing as per the standards and drawing releases as per the company norms
7. Coordinating with all departments internally to close the issue
8. Verifying the physical electrical wiring harness for first samples, vendor development support part quality inspection at supplier ends
9. Testing the electrical components as per the standards
