Select intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Design electronic systems, products, software, and components for scientific space applications
2. Analyze customer needs to determine the costs, capacity, and requirements for creating an electrical system plan
3. Perform schematic capture and review, PCB Layout and design review, and electrical BoM release
4. Circuit design to meet CE EMI/EMC testing standards
5. Create component specification and hardware test specification based on required parameters, performance, and cost criteria
6. Communicate with the firmware design/development team and mechanical engineering team
7. Communicate within the team to understand requirements and initiate proof of concept implementation
8. Create and maintain documentation as per product life cycle for hardware development
9. Provide insightful DFM, DFT, EMI/EMC of designs
10. Perform board-level testing, troubleshooting, and prepare test reports BOM preparation, and management
11. Provide post-production support by identifying complex technical issues, evaluating options, and implementing solutions
