About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Calculate the solar and wind requirements
2. Design the solar system using software
3. Research new products and technologies, and their applications on multiple renewable energy resources like wind, solar, hydro, bio-gas, etc.
4. Handle different roles in the project at different times
5. Consult with customers to understand their renewable energy needs
6. Conduct site visits and renewable energy audits
7. Create practical structural designs
8. Implement the project
9. Oversee installation and commissioning
10. Prepare reports

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 25th Dec'24 and 29th Jan'25

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Practical knowledge and skills in working with tools, mechanisms, and design software

2. Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to contribute to discussions with new innovative as well as "jugaad" approaches to work

3. Strong foundation in core mechanical/electro-mechanical concepts (marks are not a primary requirement)

4. Imaginative yet practical thinking in designing solutions

5. Ability to conduct research and report findings effectively

6. Inclination towards renewable energy, with some knowledge of solar/wind energy

7. Great team player with the ability to meet deadlines

8. Eagerness to work and learn, with a focus on fast learning, teamwork, and growth

9. Trustworthy individual to join the team in solving a major societal energy problem and helping people become self-sufficient in their energy needs
