About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting meetings with design and engineering teams to determine the necessary hardware requirements
2. Developing and designing components like printed circuit boards (PCBs), processors, memory modules, and network components
3. Collaborating with software engineers to ensure software compatibility and integration with hardware components
4. Generating performance and analytic reports to present and revise as necessary
5. Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and recommending suitable repairs or modifications
6. Implementing maintenance, repairs, and modifications to existing components
7. Staying updated with the latest advancements in computer technology and design trends
8. Testing hardware prototypes, analysing performance data, and interpreting the results
9. Designing PCB layouts to ensure signal integrity
10. Possessing knowledge of industry standards and certifications
11. Being involved in embedded hardware design documentation, schematic design, layout design and review, unit test, and integration testing while adhering to hardware design standards and methodologies
12. Maintaining and enhancing proficiency in embedded hardware engineering-related development environments, processes, and tools
13. Possessing knowledge of interfacing microcontrollers such as STM32, Cortex M4, and AVR with hardware such as USB, UART, SPI, I2C, Timers, PWM, WDT, CAN
14. Demonstrating strong communication and organizational skills to manage relationships with external suppliers and contract manufacturers
15. Working collaboratively with the program manager and company leadership on critical product deliverables and timelines

Other requirements
Required Qualification: B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/M.S. in electronics or an equivalent relevant degree
Skills and Knowledge:
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Allegro, Altium, etc.
Strong understanding of software languages and integration processes
Exceptional attention to detail and precision
Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Ability to stay updated with the latest advancements in technology and design
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Team player with strong self-motivation and collaboration abilities
Experience in conducting research, reviewing, and implementing best practices, emerging technologies, and design patterns for new and existing development
Proficiency in using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers
Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
