About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist in writing, debugging, and optimizing embedded C code for the NRF52 and STM32 microcontroller families.
2. Work with various peripherals such as UART, I2C, SPI and timers on both NRF52 and STM32 platforms.
3. Collaborate on developing low-power applications and optimizing energy consumption.
4. Implement BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) communication on NRF52 and other serial protocols supported by STM32.
5. Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and debugging firmware to ensure reliability and performance.
6. Document code and project progress.

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Currently pursuing a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

2. Basic knowledge of embedded systems and microcontroller programming (C/C++/python).

3. Familiarity with Nordic Semiconductor's NRF52 family of microcontrollers and their development environment (nRF5 SDK, Segger Embedded Studio).

4. Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and development tools (STM32CubeMX, STM32CubeIDE, etc.).

5. Basic understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication on NRF52.

6. Experience with embedded communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART) on both microcontroller platforms.

7. Knowledge of debugging techniques, including use of tools like JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.

8. Basic soldering skill is a plus.

9. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS, and Zephyr OS is a plus.

2. Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

3. Exposure to Motion tracking sensors like accelerometers, gyroscopes, or other sensors.

4. Basic knowledge of electronics and hardware design.
