About the internship
We at Xelec are looking for a passionate bunch that wants to drive the next wave of innovation in the electronics industry. While business economics informs the core of our business, innovation is our epicenter. We not only work on crazily ambitious projects, we encourage our team to bring us ideas that sound bizarre and revolutionary. For us, no idea is crazy enough to not deserve at least one serious attempt, if not more.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Software Development:
- Writing, testing, and debugging embedded software in languages like C, C++, or assembly
- Developing and optimizing code
- Implementing and testing algorithms, communication protocols, or device drivers
2. Hardware Interaction:
- Working with development boards, sensors, and other peripheral devices
- Interfacing software with hardware components
- Assisting in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits
3. Testing and Debugging:
- Using debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) to diagnose and fix issues
- Running and analyzing tests on embedded systems to ensure functionality and performance
- Writing and executing unit tests and integration tests for software modules
4. Documentation:
- Maintaining clear documentation of code, hardware designs, and test procedures
- Writing technical reports or summaries of work for team meetings or project updates
5. Working on client as well as internal projects
