LEDsafari is looking for a passionate engineer for a period of 6 months. The person will be working on a plug and play IoT device (HelioHealth). LEDsafari has developed a low-cost sensor for remote monitoring of mini-grids or off-grid solar in remote areas. The project is a demonstration pilot (Proof of Concept) in Bihar and it aims to further improve the technology and find the market fit for India. The person will be working with teams in India and Switzerland for the demonstration project.

1. Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or in any other relevant field. Candidates with advanced degrees (in relevant fields only) will be preferred
2. Thorough understanding and hands-on experience of developing IoT devices
3. In-depth knowledge of communication technology including GSM device management and programming
4. Hands-on experience of developing embedded devices using open-source hardware and software tools
5. Comfortable with Embedded device programming and testing using ARDUINO and AVRDUDE
Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 1000000 to 1100000 /year
