About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Join alternate day online meetings (one hour, 3 days in a week)
2. Write minutes of the meeting
3. Discuss UN Convention of Biological Diversity (CBD)
4. Work on creative writing (i.e. poetry, story, short films, concept note on UN Convention of Biological Diversity)
5. Develop capacity building material for school students & volunteers to understand the UN Convention of Biological Diversity
6. Design IUN Convention of Biological Diversity outreach campaigns
7. Conduct capacity building program for school students and volunteers in your city (online/offline as per COVID situation)
8. Conduct UN Convention of Biological Diversity outreach campaigns (online/offline as per the COVID situation)
9. Develop weekly engagement reports.

About Footprint

We are a subsidiary website of Tarumitra, 'friends of trees' that has been owning UN consultative status since 2005 and is a movement led by students for ecological sensitivity. Since then, we have been providing platforms with capable volunteers/student leaders at various UN forums and meetings to discuss environmental issues, solutions, and ideas with world leaders and policymakers. Footprint has objectives to promote sustainable development goals set by the UN, bring habit change, and generate awareness on the segregation of waste for resource recovery. Youth and students of various educational institutions are being mobilized for the campaign #ImprisionPlastic.
