About the internship
As an Equity Analyst intern at Food Seed Tech VC, you will have the exciting opportunity to dive into the world of venture capital and food technology. Your role will involve conducting research, analyzing startups, and creating presentations to support investment decisions. With your expertise in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and Canva, you will play a crucial role in helping us identify promising startups in the food, agriculture, and hospitality industries.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Performing industry analysis and sourcing of potential investment opportunities
2. Conducting market research and portfolio company benchmarking to identify trends and opportunities in the food, agriculture, and hospitality sectors
3. Creating detailed investment memos and summaries to present to senior management, LPs, and stakeholders
4. Assisting in due diligence processes and helping assess the viability of potential investments
5. Collaborating with the investment team to support portfolio companies and monitor performance
6. Developing presentations and reports to communicate investment recommendations to stakeholders
7. Staying updated on industry news and trends to help inform investment decisions
