About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Book venues and schedule speakers
2. Research vendors and choose the best combination of quality and cost
3. Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
4. Hire personnel
5. Manage all event operations (preparing venue, invitations, etc.)
6. Do final checks on the day of the event (e.g. tables, technology) to ensure everything meets standards
7. Oversee event happenings and act quickly to resolve problems
8. Evaluate the event's success and submit reports
