About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of events, including the Global Conference of Actuaries.
2. Researching and identifying potential speakers, sponsors, and partners for events.
3. Updating and maintaining various databases with relevant information.
4. Assisting in creating and updating event content, such as presentations, promotional materials, and agendas.
5. Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event logistics.
6. Supporting registration processes, managing participant lists, and responding to inquiries.
7. Assisting in marketing and promotional activities to attract participants and sponsors.
8. Tracking expenses, maintaining financial records, and managing within approved budgets.
9. Contributing to post-event evaluations and reporting to identify areas for improvement.
10. Providing on-site support during events, including managing registration desks and assisting participants.
11. Assisting in maintaining event-related databases and documentation.

The position may require weekend and evening work surrounding our event
schedule.

About Institute Of Actuaries Of India

The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament, viz., the Actuaries Act, 2006, for regulating the profession of Actuaries in India. The nodal ministry for the institute is the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance. The affairs of the IAI are managed by a Council in accordance with the provisions of the Actuaries Act, 2006. The Council consists of 12 elected fellow members and 3 persons nominated by the Central Government. Currently, two government nominees are from the Department of Financial Services and one from the Insurance Regulatory Development Authority.
