The I Factor, a leading event management firm, is seeking highly motivated interns to join our team for a dynamic corporate event experience in Vizag. This 20-day internship program (July 15th to August 4th) offers an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of event planning and execution.
Internship Program Overview: The program will provide a comprehensive immersion into the world of corporate events. You'll work alongside our experienced event professionals through the entire event lifecycle, from pre-event planning to on-site execution. This includes critical tasks related to the 3-day core event as well as additional activities to ensure a seamless overall experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist with logistical planning, vendor coordination, and identifying resources.
2. Be part of the event planning process and coordination
3. Participate in on-site event setup, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
4. Research and source materials for the event, leveraging local knowledge to secure the best deals
5. Assist in the coordination of all event logistics before and during the event including venue setup, transportation, and equipment
6. Assist in keeping control of the event deliverables, maintaining a detailed status report, and keeping the event team updated on the progress
7. Participate in team meetings and brainstorms
8. Monitor progress on the checklist and deliverables during the lead-up to the event day

1. A bachelors degree in any discipline.
2. Preference for someone who can start the internship on July 15, 2024.
3. Prior experience in event planning or related fields (volunteer work is a plus).
4. Fluency in Telugu, English, and Hindi (written and spoken).
5. Locality to Vizag and familiarity with the city. Interns should be strictly local to Visakhapatnam.
6. A professional dress code is expected during the internship.
7. Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
