Fashion & Creative Arts Design Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Managing design process from conception to final styling
2. Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics & techniques and seeking design inspiration
3. Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, making edits to the line, and creating new concepts
4. Ensuring the product is in agreement with business strategy
5. Selecting fabrics and trims
6. Creating production sketches for development packages
7. Collaborating with the technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate
8. Reviewing product for style and fit during the presentation
9. Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples
10. Developing new product concepts for a variety of art & craft kits using techniques, such as knitting, weaving, embroidery, glassblowing, painting, drawing, and sculpting
11. Working on the planning and promotion of sales by presenting a product to the right market at the right price, right time, and right place with the right merchandise
12. Presenting the collection to export houses and other e-commerce/marketplaces
