About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Fabric selection and understanding: Assist in selecting and sourcing fabrics based on design requirements, gaining knowledge of different fabric types and their suitability for various garment styles.
2. Design illustration: Create detailed fashion sketches and illustrations for Indian dresses, translating concepts into visual designs that align with brand aesthetics.
3. Stitching and embroidery techniques: Gain hands-on experience in stitching, embroidery, and other garment production techniques. Assist in creating intricate embroidery patterns and stitching styles for both traditional and contemporary Indian wear.
4. Trend research: Stay updated with the latest fashion trends in Indian wear and contribute creative ideas for new collections.
5. Collaborating with the production team: Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are executed accurately and meet quality standards.
6. Prototype creation and sample review: Assist in the creation of prototypes and review samples to ensure designs are produced as per specifications.
7. Design modifications: Help modify designs based on fabric constraints, production capabilities, and feedback from the team.
8. Material and product knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of materials used in Indian ethnic wear and suggest innovative ways to incorporate them into designs.

Other requirements
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and eager-to-learn fashion design intern who is passionate about growing in the field of fashion, especially Indian wear. While prior experience is not mandatory, we expect you to be skilled in key areas such as fabric knowledge, design illustration, and stitching techniques. If you’re ready to take on challenges, learn quickly, and apply your creativity, we would love to have you on our team!
