The field application engineer will play a critical role in providing technical support and expertise. As an FAE, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the successful integration and utilization of products and solutions. You will serve as the bridge between technical and non-technical personnel, helping to troubleshoot issues, offer solutions, and build strong collaborative relationships.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaboratively assess existing hardware and provide insights for refinement.
2. Analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.
3. Ensure the setup and functionality of field equipment and respond to service requests.
4. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, replace parts, and fix system configuration.
5. Assist teams with loading firmware or software updates onto devices.
6. Flash binary code onto embedded systems or microcontrollers.
7. Verify successful code execution and address any issues.
8. Provide on-site and remote technical support.
9. Demonstrate the product and train users on its capabilities and best practices.
10. Create technical documentation (installation guides, troubleshooting procedures).
11. Communicate effectively with diverse teams to understand and address their needs.
12. Act as a liaison between technical teams and end-users.
