Financial Data Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Custom Scan Development in TradingView:
a. Using Pine Script to develop custom indicators and trading strategies on the TradingView platform
b. Building and testing real-time trading models to identify opportunities in the market
c. Optimizing and enhancing the functionality of custom scans based on market needs

2. Financial Data Extraction and Web Scraping:
a. Extracting financial data from platforms like Morningstar using Python and web scraping techniques
b. Cleaning, organizing, and analyzing the extracted data to gain actionable insights
c. Presenting data findings and trends in a clear, concise manner for internal and client use

3. Data Analysis and Automation:
a. Working with large datasets, analyzing key financial indicators and performance metrics
b. Automating repetitive tasks using Python scripts, reducing manual intervention, and improving efficiency

4. Collaborative Work:
a. Collaborating with the team to identify potential enhancements in custom scans or data extraction methods
b. Participating in brainstorming sessions and contribute ideas to improve current financial analysis models

5. Learning and Development:
a. Staying updated with the latest tools and trends in financial data analysis and algorithmic trading
b. Gaining hands-on experience in coding for financial markets and leveraging insights from market data to improve trading strategies
