Financial Services & Compliance Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Stay updated on relevant financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices related to payment processing
2. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements
3. Act as the primary point of contact for payment-related inquiries and issues from internal departments, external stakeholders, and the Customer Service (CS) Committee
4. Get involved, investigate, and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and chargebacks in a timely manner
5. Collaborate closely with the CS Committee to address and resolve issues raised by customers, acquiring banks, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) related to payment transactions
6. Track and publish monthly CS Committee notes post approval from the Nodal officer to the larger group of stakeholders
7. Attend RBI-related phone calls to discuss and resolve payment-related issues/complaints provide updates to the team on the status of unresolved issues and expedite resolution wherever needed
8. Diligently track the renewal of PhonePe's policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines related to payment processes

Requirements:

1. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
2. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
3. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team
6. MBA or CA from an esteemed, accredited institution
