About the internship

This role combines the analytical rigor of a data analyst with the dynamic responsibilities of a producer's assistant, ensuring seamless integration across strategy, research, and operations.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Perform comprehensive data analytics across creative, business, and legal functions to support strategic decision-making
2. Assist in project greenlighting, investment-related decisions, and long-term planning using data-driven insights
3. Conduct primary and secondary research, translating findings into actionable creative and strategic recommendations
4. Utilize AI and machine learning to enhance script analysis, talent selection, project budgeting, and operational efficiency
5. Leverage advanced web scraping techniques to gather data on intellectual property, market trends, competitors, and talent
6. Support day-to-day operations, including calendar management, scheduling, and meeting coordination
7. Develop and manage databases of industry players across film, TV, digital, and Broadway sectors
8. Organize and track various creative, business, and legal projects within the company
9. Assist with transactional and litigation matters, performing extensive legal research and organizing materials for legal advisors
10. Maintain accounts and budgets using tools like MS Excel and QuickBooks, ensuring accurate financial tracking
11. Create impactful data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Google Data Studio, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva
12. Implement SEO strategies, optimize the company website, and conduct keyword research using tools like SEMrush and Ahrefs
13. Professionally engage with artists, executives, business partners, and legal advisors
14. Assist in investor relations, fundraising activities, and roadshows
15. Provide ongoing assistance to the President/CEO/Producer with special projects, travel coordination, and personal tasks as needed

Other requirements

1. Advanced degree in a relevant field (MBA, master's in film, or equivalent)

2. Strong aptitude and passion for film, TV, and digital entertainment with a balance of creative, business, and legal skills

3. Experience in data analytics, research, or strategic roles in the entertainment industry

4. Proficiency in tools such as Python, Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks, Canva, and Adobe Suite

5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with an entrepreneurial mindset

6. Detail-oriented, diligent, and dependable with a proven track record of managing complex projects

7. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

8. Excellent written and oral English communication skills

9. Excellent research and development skills
