About the internship
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated web app development intern who is ambitious and eager to learn and deliver quickly. We develop web apps using Angular. However, we believe that candidates familiar with ReactJS can pick up this skill quickly.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Collaborate with the development team to conceptualize and implement UI/UX enhancements in our web app using Angular
2. Implement UI/UX designs to create user-friendly web interfaces
3. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate front-end components with APIs and server-side logic
4. Optimize applications for speed and scalability
5. Engage in debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing the application's performance
6. Participate in testing processes, ensuring high-quality bug-free code
7. Collaboratively work in a team to meet agile project objectives and stringent deadlines
8. Discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
The intern should have the following skills:
(a) Some experience as a frontend developer using Angular or ReactJS.
(b) Have used JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
(c) Some experience with responsive and adaptive design principles.
(d) Familiarity with Restful APIs and front-end/back-end integration.
(e) Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
(f) Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
(g) Experience with other front-end frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js).
(h) Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma).
(i) Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma).
(j) Knowledge of modern authentication methods like JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

Other requirements
Preference for any computer science (or equivalent) engineer who:
(a) has 3 to 6 months of experience as a Frontend developer.
(b) is passionate about working in a very early-stage startup where s/he can learn extremely quickly and make a difference, with a potentially high upside
(c) is ambitious and wants to grow fast
(d) can work independently, create projects from scratch & deploy them
(e) loves technology and has a good aptitude
(f) has strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
(g) is looking for a long term opportunity as the successful candidate will be looked at favorably for a full time role.
