Task description: Full-stack automation projects pipeline with a mix of Greenfield and BAU activities. Projects would involve API testing activities. The prospective candidate should be able to convert customer use case documents into a working project and deliver the implementation.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop automation projects employing API interaction
2. Create execution strategies
3. Work on vendor and inter-team coordination
4. Work on Agile setting with Kanban flow on TDD
Industry/Technology/Education Background:
1. Looking for candidates from an engineering background
2. Must have good knowledge of information technologies and REST API
3. Experience with financial projects in capital markets domain is a plus
Mandatory Skills:
1. Java, Python, R, Node, PHP, C#, .NET
2. REST services & DBMS programming.
3. Application server & development environment
4. Excel and formulae
Desirable Skills:
1. Database administration (PostgreSQL, RedisDB) & Excel Macros
2. Linux with the management of both server and network monitoring
3. Git repository management and Maven/Gradle build environment
Professional Skills:
1. Able to create and execute test scenarios
2. Able to write and review modular code that can scale and have plug-and-play capabilities
