About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Front-End Development: Building the user-facing part of the website using languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This includes creating responsive designs and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
2. Back-End Development: Developing server-side logic and database interactions using languages like Python, Node.js. This involves setting up servers, databases, and application logic.
3. Regularly updating website content, fixing bugs, and ensuring that the website remains functional and up-to-date.
4. Implementing new features and making improvements based on user feedback and evolving needs.
5. Monitoring website performance and making adjustments to improve speed and efficiency.
6. Implementing security measures to protect the website from threats and vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
1. Understanding of basic concepts and ability to write simple scripts.
a. HTML/CSS: Proficiency in creating and styling web pages and professional knowledge of JavaScript.
b. Responsive Design: Ability to create web pages that work well on both desktop and mobile devices.
c. Version Control Systems: Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub for code.
Management.
d. Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug issues.
e. Good verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and documentation.
f. Ability to work well in a team environment and take constructive feedback.
g. Demonstrated enthusiasm for web development and a willingness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
1. Experience or knowledge in popular libraries and frameworks like React, or Vue.js.
2. Knowledge of server-side programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python) and databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB).
3. Familiarity with tools like Webpack, NPM/Yarn, and code editors likVS Code.
4. A portfolio showcasing previous work or personal projects demonstrating web development skills.
5. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively.
