The role of a fundraiser is to raise awareness about WWF - India's campaigns to people on the street, at public places, corporates; inspire them to contribute funds and become supporters for the noble causes we work for. In this public-facing role, you will also be expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and conduct, consistent with WWF's values.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Engaging prospective donors in conversations about the importance of their transformational investment and gradually moving them towards committed financial support
2. Participating in comprehensive training to develop knowledge of WWF India's campaigns and present that to prospective clients.
3. Meeting set income targets by signing paid supporters
4. Expanding the World Wide Fund for nature's donor base by reaching donors who would not normally seek to actively learn about the cause
5. Developing fundraising techniques with your team leader to improve the income of WWF- India
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 11th May'22 and 15th Jun'22
3. are available for duration of 6 months

WWF India is a prominent conservation organization dedicated to safeguarding India's wildlife and natural spaces. Established to focus on scientific conservation efforts, it tackles various issues like protecting species and habitats, addressing climate change, managing water resources, and promoting environmental education.
