Game Development Internship

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern to join our team in developing an exergame using computer vision. This internship provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in game development, and computer vision.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the development team to design and implement interactive exergame experiences.
Utilize Unity 3D to create engaging gameplay mechanics, user interfaces, and visual effects.
Develop computer vision algorithms and integrate them into the game using Python.
Implement networking functionality using socket programming for different capabilities.
Conduct testing and debugging to ensure smooth performance across different platforms and devices.
Work closely with designers and artists to incorporate assets and optimize game performance.
Document development processes, including code documentation and technical reports.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in game development, computer vision, and related technologies.
Requirements:

Proficiency in Unity 3D game development platform.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in computer vision libraries such as OpenCV.
Familiarity with socket programming for networking applications.
Solid understanding of game design principles and user experience.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Effective communication skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
Previous experience or coursework in game development, computer vision, or related fields is a plus.
