1. Determine and understand the scope of the requirements
2. Understand the brand's design language and strategy and also advise clients on strategies to reach a particular audience
3. Determine the message the design should portray
4. Create images that identify a product or convey a message
5. Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites and social media
6. Select colours, images, text style, and layout
7. Present the design and seek approvals
8. Incorporate the changes recommended by the clients into the final design
9. Review designs for errors before printing or publishing them
