About the internship
We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague who has the desire to experience, learn, and grow with people engagement. This internship will offer opportunities to learn about local cultures and cuisines, and most importantly grow as a person and professionally through diverse engagements with guests and patrons visiting us at our resorts, villas, and homes. This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests feel welcome and valued throughout their stay.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Making guests feel at home from the moment they arrive and ensuring a smooth check-in process and making them check into their rooms, with a warm articulation of the amenities and facilities at the LaRISa property and in their room, focussing on USPs
2. Engage with guests naturally and effectively, to make them feel confident of their choice of a La Ri Sa stay and share with guests in a well-articulated and warm manner, the opportunities to soak in local cultural and other attractions
3. Come across as the natural point of contact for guests throughout their stay, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously
4. Handle guest complaints or issues efficiently and with a human touch, striving to resolve them timely and beyond the guest's satisfaction
5. Promote hotel amenities, including dining options, spa services, and recreational activities, to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue
6. Collaborate effectively with all hotel departments, including housekeeping, front desk, and F&B, to ensure seamless guest service delivery
7. Anticipate guests' needs and go above and beyond to exceed their expectations

Other requirements
1. Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
2. Passion to strike a welcoming and engaging conversation

4. Flexibility to work shifts and go beyond the ordinary
5. Prior experience in hospitality or customer service would be an advantage
6. Currently enrolled in a hospitality management or related program or possess relevant academic credentials
