About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Understanding job requirements: Collaborating with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications of open positions.
2. Sourcing candidates: Using various methods to attract candidates, including job postings, social media, professional networks, and recruitment agencies.
3. Screening resumes: Reviewing applications and selecting candidates based on qualifications, experience, and fit for the position.
4. Conducting Interviews: Arranging and conducting initial interviews, whether in-person, over the phone, or via video conferencing.
5. Evaluating Candidates: Assessing candidates' skills, experience, and suitability for the role through interviews and other evaluation methods.
6. Coordinating with hiring managers: Communicating candidate progress and coordinating with hiring managers for subsequent interview rounds.
7. Maintaining candidate database: Keeping detailed records of candidate information and progress in an applicant tracking system (ATS).
8. Extending job offers: Negotiating terms and extending job offers to selected candidates.
9. Onboarding: Assisting new hires with the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
10. Employer branding: Promoting the company as an attractive employer through various channels and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
11. Staying updated: Keeping abreast of industry trends, labor laws, and best practices in recruitment.
12. Reporting and metrics: Tracking and reporting key recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and make improvements.
