About the internship

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our dynamic team in Mohali. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about human resources management and organizational development to gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. As an HR Intern, you will play a vital role in supporting the HR department's day-to-day operations while contributing to strategic projects aimed at attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
2. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
3. Maintain and update our applicant tracking system.
4. Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires by preparing orientation materials and employee handbooks.
5. Ensure a seamless experience for new employees during their induction period.
6. Assist in planning and organizing training sessions and workshops.
7. Help monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
8. Support the development and implementation of internal policies and HR strategies.
9. Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to suggest improvements.
10. Contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement and workplace satisfaction.
11. Assist in organizing events and activities to foster a positive work culture.
12. Provide administrative support to HR executives, including maintaining employee records and preparing reports.
13. Compile and analyze HR metrics to aid strategic decision-making.

What you need for this position:

1. A bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field (completed or ongoing).
2. Strong interest in a career in Human Resources and a desire to learn.
3. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
4. Basic understanding of HR tools, software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
6. A proactive attitude, ability to multitask, and capability to work independently or as part of a team.
