About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Work with consultants and conduct studies related to shop floor operations in steel industry
2. Shop floor studies are for assessing the machine utilization levels, manpower, level of non-value-added activities, etc.
3. Assist the consulting team in data analysis, developing presentations, and structuring the deliverables
4. Work with consultants in developing surveys, research questionnaires, etc.

1. Exposure to consulting firms or manufacturing, especially in integrated steel plants, will be a big plus.

2. Exposure to industrial engineering concepts is a must.
