Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Constructing structural components from raw materials
2. Using welding equipment to fuse structural components
3. Inspecting fabricated components to ensure that they are the correct size
4. Utilizing shears, power saws, cutting torches, and chipper knives to cut structural components as needed

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in using hand and power tools
2. Skill in interpreting blueprints for mechanical systems
3. Ability to maintain concentration for extended periods
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
5. Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
6. Exceptional welding and mechanical expertise
