About the internship

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic sales intern to join our team. The sales intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and marketing by working closely with our sales manager or directly under the CEO. This internship offers valuable exposure to the sales process, customer relationship management, and business development activities.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist the inside sales manager or CEO in prospecting and generating leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement
2. Handle client calls and inquiries, providing information about our products and services, and addressing any questions or concerns they may have
3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and industry trends
4. Support the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns to drive business growth and revenue
5. Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other collateral for client meetings and presentations
6. Follow up on sales leads and inquiries to nurture relationships and move prospects through the sales pipeline
7. Participate in sales meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training workshops to enhance sales skills and knowledge
8. Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives and campaigns
9. Provide administrative support in maintaining accurate records, updating CRM systems, and tracking sales activities

Other requirements

1. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

2. Highly motivated with a passion for sales and marketing.

3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

4. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

5. Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus but not required.

Additional information

Job offer: On successful conversion to a permanent employee, the candidate can expect a salary of Rs. 100000 to 200000 /year

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 3000 per sale).
