About the internship

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Business Development Intern role at Sociium. The Business Development Intern will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with sales, including communication with clients & customers, providing exceptional customer service, training, and sales management.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Lead Generation, Email marketing and cold calling
2. Scheduling qualified business development meetings
3. Following up on leads from an email campaign
4. Strong communication with clients & customer service skills
5. Ability to sell and negotiate with clients
6. Experience or willingness to learn about sales management
7. Internship or work experience in sales is a plus
8. Ability to work well in a team and independently
9. organizational and time-management skills
10. Basic knowledge of sales, marketing and digital media is a plus
11. Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
12. Fluent in English

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.

2. Previous internship experience in business development or sales, preferably in a marketing agency or startup environment.

3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

4. Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, and advertising is a plus.

5. Women wanting to start/restart their career in business development are preferred. Prior business development internship experience is a plus.

Additional information

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (5% of revenue generated).
