Interior Design Internship

Job Description:
Vicky's Design Studio is looking for a dynamic Interior Design Intern to support the execution of residential and commercial interior projects. This internship offers hands-on exposure to various aspects of interior design, project coordination, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and Execution:
Assist in creating design layouts and 3D renders for client presentations.
Work closely with the team to ensure designs are implemented accurately on-site.

Budgeting and Documentation:
Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for projects.
Handle project budgeting, including tracking expenses and verifying invoices.

Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with vendors for material procurement and ensure timely delivery.
Compare quotations and assist in vendor selection.

Client and Site Management:
Support in client meetings to gather design requirements and feedback.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and resolve on-site issues.

Administrative Support:
Maintain project documentation, including contracts, plans, and progress reports.
Assist in preparing billing documents for clients and vendors.

Requirements:
Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
Knowledge of design tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
Basic understanding of BOQ preparation and billing processes.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
