About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Outline client design objectives
2. Conceptualize and sketch design plans
3. Determine the cost of completion and assess project requirements in the budgeting phase
4. Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project
5. Source materials and procure products included in plans
6. Create 'mood boards' to visualize and sample the design vision
7. Utilize computer applications to enhance and refine the design process
8. Inspect the design after completion to evaluate whether client goals have been met

Other requirements

1. Pursuing a bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field

2. Portfolio of design work

3. Project management experience

4. Experience with computational design

5. Highly creative, imaginative and artistic

6. Excellent communication skills, especially with communicating an artistic vision

7. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Illustrator, SketchUp, or similar design software
